What is a true quality job?
The U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Commerce have identified eight key principles of a good job, including organizational culture, benefits, pay, and more.
Building on these principles and complementary frameworks, SPR was thrilled to support The James Irvine Foundation‘s exploration of what job quality means to their Better Careers Initiative grantees through two virtual sessions. The briefing paper from those sessions, authored by Kate Dunham, Kristin Wolff, Skye Allmang, Ivette Gutierrez, and Jessica Muñoz highlights grantees’ quality job definitions, frameworks, and metrics, as well as key highlights from the rich discussion.
