About Ivette

Ivette believes that great research has the capacity to grow and transform organizations and their work. Since 2013, Ivette has helped organizations collect, analyze, and employ data to strengthen social services and participant experiences. As a Senior Associate in the Workforce and Human Services Division at SPR, she primarily focuses on workforce and human service projects, with a special interest on projects that develop employment opportunities for people with justice-involvement. Through her work, she hopes to advance the knowledge and research base on what works in order to promote greater opportunity for people who are economically vulnerable. In this effort, she employs thoughtful qualitative research, advocates for participatory research designs, and leads collaborative database development efforts.

Ivette is a big fan of contemporary art—she enjoys the work of fellow Angeleno, Mark Bradford, and conceptual artist Félix González-Torres. She champions her hometown of South L.A. whenever she can, and she is still trying to find good tacos in the Bay Area.
