About Ava

Ava Alvarez is an Administrative Project Assistant, supporting both research and technical assistance projects. Prior to joining SPR, she served as a teaching assistant and research assistant in the Department of Sociology at UC Davis, where her work included collecting qualitative data and conducting quantitative analysis for studies involving California prison policies and gender in sports. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new matcha cafes and spending time with her corgi Bentley.
