About Verenice

Verenice is a Senior Associate in the Equity, Education and Community Change Division. In this role, Verenice brings close to ten years of experience in partnering with philanthropic organizations in equity-focused grantmaking evaluation and strategy and supporting diverse organizations in their internal and external racial equity efforts. Her work centers on evaluations of policy advocacy efforts, movement- and field-building and racial equity initiatives.

Verenice brings expertise in qualitative data collection and survey design. She enjoys building inclusive designs in data design processes to ensure that all voices are represented and considered. Her biggest joy is making data and evaluation actionable particularly in supporting organizations’ efforts in advancing racial equity and racial justice.

Verenice earned an M.P.P. from the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy and a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. In her spare time, she enjoys taking roadtrips, watching sports, reading, and being a cool auntie to her nieces and nephews.
