About Sergio

Sergio Martinez is an associate in the Workforce and Human Services Division with experience in qualitative community research, anti-hunger programs and policy, and technical assistance. At SPR, he focuses on workforce development and human services projects. Before joining SPR, Sergio worked at and alongside of food banks in increasing access to SNAP and emergency food services at the local and state level. Sergio is passionate about economic development and increasing opportunities for all. Sergio earned his master’s degree in public and Urban Affairs from the University of San Francisco and earned a B.A. in Modern Literary Studies with a minor in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
