About Taylor

Taylor Redmond is an Associate in the Education, Equity, & Community Change Division with experience in program development, diversity, equity, and inclusion work, and education policy research. She is passionate about eliminating systemic barriers to post-secondary education access and creating more equitable opportunities for early learners and their families. Prior to joining SPR, she developed pipeline programs to increase access to the neurosciences for middle, high school, and college students as a Diversity Coordinator at Stanford School of Medicine. Most recently in her role at the Education Policy Initiative at Carolina, she worked on the research and evaluation of teacher preparation programs, GEAR UP North Carolina, and the impacts of instructional coaching for teachers in under-resourced schools.

 

Taylor received her M.A in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her B.A in Sociology with a minor in African-American Studies from University of California, Berkeley. In her free time, she enjoys reading, ceramics, and practicing yoga.
