What are states doing with their new workforce data systems?

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has awarded Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI) grants to over 40 states to improve workforce data quality and data systems and support data-informed policy and practice in education and workforce. SPR helped DOL build a map and product catalog so the field could see what their peers are working on—and see their own work in lights!

The WDQI Grant Program Map & Catalog summarizes grant awards by round (cohort) and provides names or links to state-identified products and tools developed under the WDQI program from Round 7 (ending in 2021) forward. A user guide is available on the site and this brief describes the tool.
