SPR Welcomes Dr. Stephanie Timmons-Brown

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Stephanie Timmons-Brown as SPR’s first Executive Vice President. Dr. Timmons-Brown has served in various executive leadership and faculty positions at the University of Maryland (College Park), most recently serving as the Executive Director of the Maryland Institute for Minority Achievement and Urban Education, and brings high-level strategic expertise from her recent roles and previous positions with the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Her business acumen combined with her long-term success in addressing education, social and health disparities of underrepresented groups, and advancing equity and social justice, make her ideally suited for her new role. Dr. Timmons-Brown holds a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
