SPR, National Disability Institute Partner on Equality & Inclusive Employment for People with Disabilities

The U.S. Department of Labor awarded an $8 million four-year cooperative agreement to operate a policy development center focused on employment for people with disabilities to the National Disability Institute and Social Policy Research Associates.

The project is administered by the Office of Disability Employment Policy in the US Department of Labor and funded under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and will extend and complement the work of ODEP’s National Center on Leadership for the Employment and Economic Advancement of People with Disabilities (LEAD Center).

“SPR is thrilled to be working with NDI to launch the next generation of the LEAD Center! We look forward to collaborating with partners across the country on inclusive jobs and careers, financial empowerment, and improved outcomes for people with disabilities and those with intersecting identities” said SPR’s Project Director Laura Aron.
