About Laura

Laura is a Senior Associate and Associate Director of Business Development in the Equity, Education, and Community Change Division. She began her evaluation career in 2011 as an American Evaluation Association Graduate Education Diversity Intern and is an evaluation enthusiast constantly growing and evolving her professional skillset and approach.

Dr. Pryor has expertise in culturally responsive evaluation, mixed methods design, quantitative methods, survey design and analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Dr. Pryor has worked across a range of evaluation contexts including early learning and care, housing, policy advocacy, and effective philanthropy. She couples her deep methodological expertise with a culturally responsive evaluation approach to employ creative and innovative evaluation methods to promote social change.

Dr. Pryor received a Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods and Evaluation from the University of California Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education. Additionally, she received an M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
