About Laura

Laura Aron is a Senior Associate in the Workforce and Human Services Division. She has expertise in workforce development policy analysis, technical assistance and training, political analysis, qualitative research methods, and multicultural issues. Ms. Aron has trained thousands of workforce development practitioners in One-Stop system building, heightening organizational capacity, enhancing performance, and developing partnerships. Prior to joining SPR, she conducted legislative research and policy analysis in the areas of career advancement for low-income workers, first source hiring, and living wage issues. Ms. Aron received a Master in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology from Emory University.
