Now more than ever, a quality education is critical for preparing children and youth for productive futures in our information- and technology-driven society. With this in mind, SPR is committed to providing quality research and evaluation services to a variety of education stakeholders, including national foundations, state governments, and non-profit organizations. SPR has extensive experience conducting process and impact studies in areas as varied as early childhood education, school-to-work programs, alternative and postsecondary education, high school reform, community-driven school reform, higher education, and arts education. We have also worked extensively with foundations to improve their education grantmaking practices. A main focus of our education work is on improving access and outcomes for traditionally underserved student populations.
SPR has developed specialized expertise in the sub-area of higher education. We have worked with college presidents, national non-profit organizations, foundation program officers, and other stakeholders to evaluate programmatic and collaborative efforts in higher education, particularly those aimed at improving postsecondary access and success for students of color.
