U.S. DOL's Performance Enhancement Project has aided ETA in promoting best practices that have enhanced WIA program performance. During the life of the project (2002-2007), the project team from Social Policy Research Associates (SPR) and Public Private Ventures (P/PV) has provided technical assistance and training to help states and local areas troubleshoot performance issues and identify ways to maximize program performance. The overall goal has been to help WIA programs and providers do what is right for the customer and at the same time meet or exceed their performance goals. SPR and P/PV are leading national research, evaluation, and training providers in the field of workforce and youth development.
